The practice of meditation is training your mind to increase its power of concentration and ability to focus and become more aware of thoughts and feelings. Meditation helps you to nurture mindfulness, that deeper connection to the present.

First Breath is here to provide you with a loving, nurturing environment that enables you to relax, unwind and de-stress, through easy to apply mindfulness and meditation techniques.

Healing Hands

Healing Hands Nurture Treatment

The Healing Hands Nurture Treatment is a treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind, and spirit.

An effective relaxation therapy, where the practitioner leads you to focus your mind, breath, and heart so you can achieve a natural, healing state of being. In this session, you will receive easy to follow instructions in meditation, visualisation, and equal breathing, whilst receiving hands-on healing.

Mindfulness Through Art Therapy

Mindfulness Through Art Therapy sessions focus on simple mindfulness and art therapy activities and can be booked one-on-one or for small groups.

The session starts with guided mindfulness practices before moving into right brain art activities. For those experiencing higher levels of stress or anxiety who may have struggled with more traditional styles of meditation in the past, the interactive format of these sessions may be a better fit. No prior experience is needed – the environment is nurturing and relaxed and you are lead through each technique.

First Breath Wellbeing strives to provide a sanctuary in the community to support parents and their children with the development of physical and emotional wellbeing through play and easy to apply mindfulness practices.

The Children’s programs are designed to deliver open-ended play and mindfulness techniques while providing the necessary space for children to develop emotional resilience. This assists the children to recognise feelings, as well as develop and build a strategy bank that better skills the child to self regulate and be able to prepare for setting a calm, peaceful environment (physical and emotional) which assists them in later primary and high school years, when study and homework become a larger part of their day.
